re a lot of pages to my book. Born in Seaforth, now living just north of London, a Western grad, married with three wonderful children and three grandkids, wonderful in their own right. Various work throughout the years, notably, teacher of English and Philosophy, aerobics queen (TNT Fitness), rider for Team Canada ( medals!). Played piano in my youth and am now learning alto saxophone. So much fun. My paintings rely heavily on life experience and are exhibited throughout Ontario from Toronto to Windsor.
Cathy is a lifelong resident of London Ontario and is primarily a self-taught artist. She is currently a member of The Central Ontario Art Association, the Colour Pencil Society of America, Gallery Painting Group, and the Art Gypsies Collective painting group and has received her Creative Arts Certificate from Fanshawe College in London Ontario.
Annette paints with emotion and colour to connect and sometimes to stir the viewer’s imagination, perhaps, at times, to laugh at humour in art form, or to dance the way of the heart.
I am an acrylic and watercolour artist. I also love to needle felt with wool. I spent a lot of time on Canada’s west coast, so I developed a deep love of nature. Nothing could be more satisfying for me than being on a beach and painting what I see as I listen to the waves roll ashore. I also love to paint people’s best friends: of course, that would be our puppies. I love it when I finish a commission and see a sincere smile on their face. Painting or working with wool are the absolutely best ways I love to spend my time.
Lynne enjoys painting Landscapes, Beaches and Water scenes, using primarily Acrylic Medium. Much of her inspiration comes from the travels and sports activities of her family. Being primarily a fitness enthusiast, Lynne finds art and painting to be an enjoyable and peaceful creative diversion from her everyday life. She has a unique and recognizable technique seen in the paintings of her skies and clouds. Hopefully you will enjoy her paintings as much as she enjoys creating them.
