Peter Karle & Adam Lamoureux's "Thriving on a Riff"

“Thriving On A Riff” is the best way to describe the dynamic of guitarist Peter Karle and saxophonist Adam Lamoureux. Introduced on a gig playing jazz standards, the two musicians have since grown through the constant search/exploration of the many styles of jazz that exist. From transcribing from the jazz greats, or even crafting shows based on learning new styles, these two musicians present classic jazz with a refreshing youthful energy. Fresh off of covering all of Miles Davis’ “Kind of Blue” album at The Aeolian, Peter and Adam are pleased to present a small program at the hall that embodies their usual phrase “So… what’s next?”.
