MICHAEL KNIGHT as Michael Jackson

While most tribute artists learn to imitate their idols by watching videos over and over again, Michael Knight took a different approach.

In 2013, Knight sought out Michael Jackson’s backup dancer and choreographer for Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson IMMORTAL, Travis Payne and contracted him to help understand and recreate MJ’s dance moves.

Additionally, in 2014, Knight received vocal training from Jackson’s long-time vocal coach, Seth Riggs. This training led Knight into becoming one of the top three Michael Jackson Tribute Artists’ in the world today.

In addition to performing with Legends in Concert since 2013, Knight has performed hundreds of shows in performing arts centers, casinos, fairs, festivals and private events worldwide!

Knight performed to an audience of 60,000 people in 2018 at the Legendary Rose Bowl.

Michael Knights looks forward to meeting and performing for Michael Jackson fans all over the world.

Whiskey Jack - Stories & Songs of Stompin' Tom

Since Whiskey Jack's inception 45+ years ago, their fans have been showering them with accolades celebrating their songs and stories.  But the one constant that has fueled their success is what brings the crowds to their feet each night -  a polished show exuding charm, ease and playfulness, qualities welcomed in this post Covid world.  Since day 1, Duncan Fremlin has been plying his trade as the singer/banjo player/leader of Whiskey Jack.  Over the years, elite members of the Canadian music community have enjoyed time in the Whiskey Jack family.

Success followed in the 1980's when the band was invited to host their own "Ol' Back Porch" segment on the CBC TV's Tommy Hunter Show.  A few years later when Stompin' Tom resumed his career, he called Duncan and invited his band to join him in the studio to record his acclaimed album, "Dr. Stompin' Tom... Eh?". These two Canadian musical institutions would continue to perform and record together until Tom's death in 2014. Now Duncan is joined by two time Juno nominee Douglas John Cameron to carry the Whiskey Jack tradition into a post COVID world.
Douglas John gained fame and notoriety in 1985 with his song Mona With The Children (True North Records). He was also well known for his appearances on Ants in Your Pants (Treehouse TV). His theatrical and dynamic approach to performing, coupled with his talents on many instruments bring an endless supply of energy to this already dynamic band.

Whiskey Jack in 2023 continues to write, record and tour across the country. Their new self-produced album is now available on all platforms.

Legends II - An Evening of Music with Matt Martin

Matt Martin Bio:

No stranger to the stage, or the pulpit, Rev. Matthew Martin has been an Anglican priest for ten years and has been impersonating Elvis since before he was six. A true performer, Martin was the headliner in the Drayton Entertainment production of Blue Suede Shoes in 2012, and was named the Grand Champion, of the non-professional category in 2010 for his tribute of the King of Rock and Roll in Collingwood, Ontario.

Matt finds his true passion working as the Anglican Priest and Chaplain at Huron University College.  Martin’s voice always captivates – whether he is singing a century-old religious hymn, a touching Christmas carol or an upbeat rock song, you can clearly see his soul in every performance.

Matt is also the former spiritual director at Camp Wendake, but remains an avid supporter of the program. He has decided to dedicate his talent in support of Camp Wendake. All proceeds from this evening go to the camp.

Camp Wendake Bio:

Camp Wendake is a one-week residential camp program for children and adults living with HIV, their families and caregivers. Camp Wendake is an amazing contradiction! People gather because of a common health concern but find freedom from focusing upon the disease for a brief time and find an opportunity to celebrate life in a community where HIV/AIDS in the norm. People may choose to attend camp in order to learn and share more about coping with their overall health and social issues. Or they may come for the rest and refreshment of a caring and understanding community.
