Bernie Gilmore is a singer, guitarist, and banjo player who believes every good story deserves a song. A longtime presence on the folk scene, Bernie blends original songwriting with beloved folk and popular classics, creating performances that are warm, engaging, and full of heart.

He has recorded two solo CDs: Another Path, a collection of songs inspired by personal reflection, and Oil Boom, celebrating the rich history of oil discovery in Lambton County. He also recorded Sea Fever with his Celtic band Scallywag. Bernie has twice been nominated for Best Singer-Songwriter (Folk/Roots) at the London Music Awards.

Bernie performs with the folk trio Perennials, known for their lively Peter, Paul and Mary tribute shows, and also enjoys performing solo, sharing a wide repertoire of folk favourites, Canadian classics, and original songs.

In 2025, Bernie was selected by VIA Rail as an Artist on Board, entertaining passengers during a four-day rail journey from Toronto to Canada’s west coast with a rich mix of folk and popular music highlighting Canadian artists.

A natural storyteller and audience favourite, Bernie has delighted listeners of all ages—from schoolchildren to seniors—in settings ranging from festivals and community concerts to retirement homes and long-term care residences. Whether performing on stage or leading small-group songwriting sessions, Bernie loves bringing people together through the joy and shared energy of music.

It all started with a snowstorm. Husband-and-wife duo, Kevin Kennedy (vocals, guitar) and Jane Carmichael (vocals, ukulele, guitar, accordion, bells, kazoo) became The Marrieds in  December 2010 during London, ON’s infamous “Snowmageddon” while snowed in together for 3 days. They wrote a snow song each day, posted them on YouTube, and within hours became one of the most-viewed channels in Canada and garnered national attention from CBC Radio.

Known for their playful folk-pop-roots sound filled with clever lyrics and sweet harmonies, The Marrieds have released several nationally-acclaimed records, including their Snow Song Trilogy (2011), Self-titled (2011), Saving Hope (2013),  Fire In The Flame (2016) and Heavy Hearts (2019).

The couple are also two-time Forest City London Music Award Winners (Folk/Roots), Canadian Folk Music Award Nominees (Vocal Group of the Year), Toronto Independent Music Award Nominees (Folk/Roots & Best Music Video), and the winners of Folk Music Ontario’s “Songs From The Heart” competition in the Roots Category.

Sharing the stage with luminaries including Kathleen Edwards, Rose Cousins, Bahamas, Bedouin Soundclash, The Trews, Danny Michel, Lennie Gallant, Valdy, Ian Thomas, Tommy Cash, Fluke Holland, and many others, The Marrieds perform for audiences across Canada, winning praise for their songwriting, performances, and charm.

Hailing from Six Nations of the Grand River, and fresh from his triumphant performance at the Los Angeles Kia Forum in front of 18,000 screaming fans for ‘Life is a Carnival: A Musical Celebration of Robbie Robertson’, Mohawk artist Logan Staats continues to prove his performance and songwriting ability. Recent highlights include a Juno Award nomination for his album ‘A Light in the Attic’, receiving the TD SOCAN Indigenous Songwriter Award, earning a Native American Music Award win in the U.S., and charting #7 iTunes Rock Chart for his single ‘Deadman’. Logan first rose to national prominence when he won CTV’s ‘The Launch’ and released his debut single ‘The Lucky Ones’ which peaked at #1 in Canada.

As a land defender, a cultural tastemaker, and a sought-after collaborator, he has performed and created with artists such as Allison Russel, Terra Lightfoot and Serena Ryder. He has brought his raw and electrifying performances across Canada, and around the world, with dates in the U.S., Europe and South America, and acted as support for Mumford & Sons, Eric Clapton and Steve Earle.

Marty Kolls is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music lives in the sweet spot between pop, folk, and soul. Her sound is warm and melodic, blending memorable musical lines with the depth and honesty of storytelling and emotional soulfulness. Expressive vocals and layered instrumentation create an intimate listening experience, drawing audiences into songs that feel both personal and timeless.

Rooted in an East Coast childhood and shaped by a life rich with varied experience, Marty now calls London, Ontario home. A mother of two, she is part of a close, supportive network of musicians and friends with whom she plays regularly. This year, she has been releasing new music that continues to explore her signature blend of pop, folk, and soul, sharing songs drawn from her own stories and the subtle, powerful moments she observes in the world around her.

Sam Peco is a London based artist who wears her heart and emotions on her sleeve. With inspirations from Lizzy McAlpine and Billie Eilish, she sings with warmth and honesty.

Sam has released a few singles over the years including, 7 seconds, Where do I start and most recently, In Hindsight! Yesterday she actually released her first EP with 5 songs fully written, produced and recorded in her living room!

She is very excited to be able to grow and become the artist she’s always envisioned!

Bill Needham is a singer songwriter born in London On, writing songs since he was a child. His talents were amplified when he put together the vehicle that would later become Broomsticks & Hammers, an award winning folk rock group. After the release of their first studio album they toured many venues across Ontario. Bill’s songwriting style draws from many eclectic sources.

Jaron Camp is a guitarist and singer-songwriter from St. Marys, Ontario. After years of performing with artists such as Emm Gryner and duo project York Street Thought Process, Camp has been pursuing his love of both lyrical folk music along with instrumental jazz guitar. Drawing inspiration from songwriters and improvisers, Camp weaves together intriguing playing and evocative lyrics. The Jaron Camp Trio of guitar, double bass and drums focuses on original instrumental music that pulls from jazz and folk traditions. Jaron Camp recently released “Jigsaw Puzzle”; a jazz folk album that includes tracks with Stephan Szczesniak and Matthieu Savard recorded live off the floor. They have received recognition from radio stations across Canada, most notably Saturday Night Jazz on CBC with Laila Biali.

Later this year, Camp will be releasing a FACTOR funded singer songwriter folk album that brings together a plethora of special guests from throughout Camp’s life in music.

Oh, Berlin is the project of singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Ben Heffernan. With Oh, Berlin, Heffernan channels his indie rock, dance rock, and art-pop influences into a set of exhilarating, cathartic songs. As a solo artist, Heffernan has been recording and touring since the mid-2010s, earning recognition through award nominations (including a Canadian Folk Music Award), high-profile festival appearances at events such as Winnipeg Folk Festival and JunoFest, and over 500 live performances. Beyond his own work, he has also recently begun to build a reputation as a producer for a number of Canadian singer-songwriters.

Oh, Berlin will release its debut full-length album in early 2026, accompanied by a run of live shows beginning in late 2025 and continuing through 2026.

Toronto songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Abigail Lapell returns with Anniversary, an evocative collection of original love songs. The album balances upbeat earworms with elegiac ballads, ultimately emerging as an earnest celebration of commitment. Anniversary was recorded at 200-year-old St. Mark’s Church in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, co-produced with Great Lake Swimmers’ Tony Dekker, who helped shape the project’s spooky, resonant sound while lending his voice to a few spellbinding duets.

Dekker and Lapell assembled a stellar cast of musicians to support Lapell’s powerhouse vocals, piano, harmonica and signature fingerstyle guitar. The core band includes Dan Fortin on bass, Jake Oelrichs on drums, and Tania Gill on piano, harpsichord and organ. Rounding out the ensemble’s sensitive, orchestral country-jazz arrangements are Rebecca Hennessy (trumpet), Rachael Cardiello (viola), Michael Davidson (marimba and vibraphone) and Joe Lapinsky (pedal steel).

Lapell has garnered three Canadian Folk Music Awards (English Songwriter of the Year in 2023 and 2020 and Contemporary Album of the Year in 2017), hit number one on Canadian folk radio and reached a staggering 48 million + streams across digital music platforms. She tours widely across Canada and the U.S., performing at festivals like SXSW, Americanafest, POP Montreal, Philadelphia Folk Festival, Dawson City Music Festival, Edmonton Folk Fest and many others.

Harry Manx has spent years fusing eastern musical traditions with the blues, switching effortlessly between conventional guitars, harmonica, and banjo and the decidedly different Mohan veena, a 20-stringed instrument invented by Manx’ Indian mentor Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. Manx is often referred to as the “Mysticssippi” Blues Man, because of his expertise in melding both East and West music together and therefore, “creating musical short stories that wed the Blues with the depth of classical Indian ragas”.

Over the last 10 years, Harry Manx released 11 Albums and has garnered a room full of awards including, “seven Maple Blues Awards, six Juno nominations, the Canadian Folk Award in 2005 for Best Solo Artist and won CBC Radio’s “Great Canadian Blues Award” in 2007″. His most recent accomplishment was receiving yet another Juno Nomination for “Blues Album of the Year”, for his release, “Bread and Buddha” in 2010.
