About Dixon's Violin: You've never heard violin like this! The world's premier visionary violinist, Dixon's life mission is to inspire people - and he has done so at over 1,000 concerts across North America, including giving four TED talks/performances, over ten years at Burning Man and Electric Forest, plus radio, TV, and film appearances. A former technology leader and symphony violinist, Dixon walked away from a distinguished career to follow his dream full-time, and invented a whole new music genre. ZEPOLOGY has been Rockin and Dazzling Audiences in the GTA and Southern Ontario since 2012.
They had a vision to recreate Led Zeppelin's 3 nights at Madison Square Gardens, from their 1973 North American Tour. Which later was released in 1976 as a Live Album and Movie.

That they did by performing the most Authentic, Modest show that has put them at the top of the Led Zep Trib chain,  giving the Audience that true Mystic Concert feel, that only Led Zeppelin did.

Murray McLauchlan is one of Canada’s most highly regarded singer/songwriters, and with good cause. Over a 50-year career, he has released 20 albums and been awarded 11 Junos. His songs Farmer’s Song, Down by the Henry Moore, Whispering Rain and Sweeping the Spotlight Away are now considered Canadian standards. Murray is also a painter, an author, an actor, a radio host; he's been bestowed an Honourary Doctor of Laws and appointed to The Order of Canada. That’s quite a ride. For many years Murray’s touring had been restricted to Lunch At Allen's, whose members also include Ian Thomas, Marc Jordan and Cindy Church. But with the release  of his critically acclaimed  Hourglass, he’s back on the road treating concert goers to a seamless blend of old and new.

Here’s what he has to say: “As a songwriter I know that it's not enough to sit in your kitchen and write. Your songs need to be heard. Music is a communicative art and if it isn't brought in front of people there is no way to tell if that end has been met. I like to think of a concert tour as a kind of roving gallery to test your art and your ideas. I try to do my very best to make it worthwhile for folks to be there and to perhaps look at things in a new way when they leave.”

Join El Sistema Aeolian for our Spring concert on Thursday June 13th at First St. Andrews United Church, 350 Queens Ave. From Beginner Strings, Chamber Orchestra, and Choir to Jazz Band, we are presenting an evening filled with Classical, Popular and Folk and Jazz works. Repertoire from the Classical tradition include Vivaldi’s Summer, and Mozart's Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, the American folk song “Old Joe Clark” and contemporary pieces such as Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. Our Brass & Winds have pivoted to a Big Band format, presenting jazz classics by Santana and Neil Hefti. Doors open at 6pm and the Concert begins at 6:30pm.

Classic Lightfoot Live stands as Canada’s premier tribute to the legendary folk rocker, Gordon Lightfoot. Led by the remarkable ensemble of vocalist and guitarist John Stinson, music director and multi-instrumentalist Bob Doidge (Gord’s record producer), bassist Steve Eyers(Gord’s nephew),lead guitarist Eric Kidd(Red Shea trained), this show whisks you down a nostalgic journey through Lightfoot’s iconic music.

Gordon Lightfoot’s impact on music is immeasurable; he’s hailed as Canada’s greatest songwriter, shaping the folk-pop sounds of the ‘60s and ‘70s. His name is synonymous with timeless tales of trains, shipwrecks, rivers, highways, love, and solitude. His repertoire, including classics like “For Lovin’ Me,” “Early Morning Rain,” and “Ribbon of Darkness,” have left an indelible mark on the world.

Classic Lightfoot Live was founded in 2012 by lead vocalist, John Stinson, a long time Ontario musician. John has been entertaining audiences around Ontario for over 30 years.  He has been widely praised for his uncanny sonic resemblance to Gord, and his attention to replicating Gord’s original studio recordings. John was mentored to play Gordon Lightfoot music by the legendary Lightfoot lead guitarist, Red Shea.
